Where should I fill up?
FuelFox answers that one question for UK drivers, and nothing else. Every petrol and diesel price on the site is a number a retailer published itself, shown with the time it was last republished.

What FuelFox is
A live map and a set of local price pages. Open the map to see the forecourts around you ranked from cheapest, or use a place or county page to see what fuel costs across a whole area today — the cheapest pump, the spread between the cheapest and dearest, and how recently each retailer moved its price.
There is no account to create, no ads, and nothing to buy. If you want the same thing in your pocket, there is an iOS app; the website works the same way without it.
Common questions — data lag, accuracy, fuel grades, privacy — are answered in the help centre.
Where the numbers come from
Under the Fuel Finder scheme introduced by the Competition & Markets Authority, UK fuel retailers must publish their pump prices to an open, machine-readable feed and update it within 30 minutes of a price changing. FuelFox polls those feeds every 30 minutes and shows what they say.
We don't photograph forecourt signage, model prices, or fill gaps with estimates. If a retailer stops publishing, we keep showing the last price it published with an honest "Updated X ago" caption rather than quietly ageing it into something that looks current. Prices older than two weeks are dropped from cheapest-near-you rankings.
Every upstream feed we read is listed, with its polling cadence, on the sources & methodology page.
Who runs it
FuelFox is an independent UK project. It is not operated by or affiliated with a fuel retailer, a supermarket, or the CMA, and no retailer can pay to appear on the site or to rank higher on it — forecourts are ordered by the price they published and nothing else.
Wrong price? Missing forecourt? Tell us.
Corrections, press enquiries and data questions all go to the same inbox. Include the station name or postcode and we can check what the feed published.
